What Does It Mean?

In an effort to illustrate how fast our planet is changing, the video points out some terrific facts:

• if you’re one in a million in China…there are 1,300 people just like you.
• China will soon be the Number One English speaking country.
• India has more honor students…than the US has students.
• In 1992, the first text message was sent…today the number of SMS messages is greater than the population of the planet.
• The English language has grown by 500% from the time anyone saw the plays MacBeth, Hamlet and King Lear.
• Today’s students may have as many as 14 jobs by the time they are 38.
